Function X Foundation is pleased to announce that we have joined forces with Blockchain at Yonsei (BaY), a university student DAO at Yonsei University, in pursuit of research and with the goal of becoming a prominent member of blockchain community in Korea.
BaY collaborates with a variety of companies in South Korea and around the world, and is actively involved in blockchain-related activity in Korea.
BaY is a key part of the Korean blockchain sector, and they have worked with both traditional and Web3 enterprises in Korea. We are thrilled to have them join Function X and collaborate with them on f(x)Core in the near future.
History of Blockchain at Yonsei(BaY)
BaY was founded in 2017 and has organized several important events in South Korea, including a meet-up with Vitalik Buterin in 2018, Mina Protocol event in 2019, and XRPLedger summer hackathon in 2023.
They were also selected as an organization to carry out the Korean national project ‘Research on Blockchain Industry Development Plan’ in 2019 and collaborated with the #1 university in China, Tsinghua University blockchain society in 2021.
